From Shopping to Hotels in Brighton

Brighton has always been a desirable place to shop. In fact, it's considered by many people to be a very desirable and quaint place for shopping as well as entertainment. From the independent shops to the city's main malls, shopping can be done morning, noon, or night. From the eclectic pieces offered for view each day, to the inviting signs and people that make the experience that much more.

The stores have just the right amount of light for browsing and mingling through the racks and shelves. There's an ease around the atmosphere, no matter what store is visited. And, there is always someone there to assist whenever needed. It's one of the most inviting and exciting places in which to visit anytime of the year.

Don't forget the Cinema Theatre and the Artisan Works. Both of these areas of interest draw a great number of patrons each day. The Cinema, Rochester's oldest neighbourhood theatre, has a variety of shows for all age groups. The Artisan Works houses great works of art from the Masters, to the local talent, all under one roof, and often, side-by-side. There is entertainment through the gallery for those who enjoy a complete spectacle of events. Host a party, take a tour, sign up for classes, or volunteer, there is something for everyone.

Consider visiting the Lilac Festival, which is located in beautiful Highland Park, beginning in May. It's something that cannot be detailed here, but must be seen and experienced first-hand in order to get the full effect of its grandeur. It's more than just flowers; there is music, art shows, and exhibits that are available to partake of.

Then there is the Eastman School of Music, the Keg, and the Irish Pub, among other wonderfully placed sites for culture, entertainment, and enjoyment. All of these places to visit have one thing in common, they are in a very complimentary part of the North-East - Brighton.

After a day of shopping, an enjoyable evening of dinner, dancing, and highlights, it's time for a good night's rest at the city's most visited hotels. There are several hotels in Brighton that are just bursting to invite new guests. They are always ready, willing and able to put their best foot forward. Visit the Marriott, the Hilton, the Courtyard Rochester, the Hyatt, or the Strathallan for the best in comfort. There are many more, and they boast a fabulous decor, a pristine environment, and a welcoming smile for all of its newcomers. Visit Brighton, it's worth the trip!
