Costa Rican Paradise of Natural Wonders, Tamarindo Beach

It's amazing how airfares have cheapened these days, and now one can easily travel to Tamarindo! Tamarindo's location has a magic-like quality as it lies in the northern part of the Nicoya Peninsula on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica in the province of Guanacaste. Separated by natural salt water estuary, Estero Tamarindo, it nestles between Playa Grande on its north and Playa Langosta on its south, both protected nesting areas of the now endangered giant leatherback turtle. They can be seen laying eggs in the months of October until March. A ferry ride through the mangrove forest will take one to a spectacular display of rare birds and reptiles, as well as an encounter with the howler monkeys.

Tamarindo has all the basic amenities, making it a fantastic destination for all types of travelers who are into eco- adventures. It's a paradise for those who love the beach and the sea as it offers first-class snorkeling trips, sailing, surfing, and the likes. Deep sea fishing is another popular sport in Tamarindo. For the more tranquil souls, there's the beauty spa, the art galleries or crafts and pottery stores. On the other hand, equipment of all types is available for rental in specialty stores. With accommodation and food, Tamarindo offers everything from posh to economy, intercontinental to local.

The two seasons in Tamarindo make it an ideal destination the whole year round. There's the dry season from November to April, and who wouldn't want to travel to Tamarindo in the rainy season from late April or early May until October. This usually means a typical sunny day with mild showers rendering the beach sparkling like jewels, and everything is green and vibrant after.

In this era of cheap airfares, Tamarindo's beaches beckon you to travel... its decadence waiting.

Beaches are most romantic places to spend your vacation. They are enjoyed by couples as well as families. However, it is always better to get cheap tickets to that place. You can read more about vacation and vacation planning in my other articles.
