Top 10 Best Beaches in Panglao Island Bohol

Bohol, derived from the word Bo-ho or Bo-ol, is the seat of the first international treaty of peace and unity between Datu Sikatuna, a native chieftain and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi, a Spanish conquistador on March 16, 1565 through a blood compact known today as Sandugo.

Bohol has three main attractions. These are the tropical forest, the smallest monkey in the world and the 'Chocolate Hills'. For 'sun, sea and beach lovers', there are a lot of possibilities for snorkeling, diving in the unpolluted waters and relaxing on the splendid beaches on some of the surrounding small islands. The Bohol province forms absolutely one of the places to stay for a longer period.

    the tarsier is not a monkey. it is currently classified as a primate and is the 2nd smallest. the smallest primate which was re-discovered around 2000 after having thought to be extinct is the pygmy tarsier. for the record, the smallest true monkey would be the pygmy marmoset. ^_^
